Product Details:

• The Monel k500 bars show a great tendency to work effectively in stress corrosion cracking compared to other grade bars. It is best known to possess three times yielding strength in comparison to the other alloys. Furthermore, the product can be strengthened through cold working before the precipitation hardening. The strength is maintained at a temperature range of 1200 F. However, it perfectly stays tough and ductile at a temperature range of 400 degree F. It gets melted down at 2400-2460 degrees F.
• Monel K500 Round Bar can be fabricated easily through the commercial procedures and welding process like gas-tungsten arc can be accomplished easily. it can be annealed during the welding prior to aging. It can work well in quenched and hot-worked conditions.

Monel 400 is characterized by good general corrosion resistance, good weldability and moderate to high strength. The alloy has been used in a variety of applications. It has excellent resistance to rapidly flowing brackish water or seawater. It is particularly resistant to hydrochloric and hydrofluoric acids when they are de-aerated. The alloy is slightly magnetic at room temperature. Monel 400 is widely used in the chemical, oil and marine industries.
